Rising from the Rubble Collaborative Project

My friend from Momtastic Stitchery had this really cool idea to create a couple tapestries relating to the Japan Earthquake and Tsnami disasters. She put together a great sketch of her idea and she is going to complete hers using quilting and stitching since that is how she mostly expresses herself artistically. I am completing 2 Batik tapestries with the same idea. When we are finished with these we will be auctioning them off and the proceeds to go to this tragedy<--in the process of researching who, what, when and how so we can make sure it goes to the right organization or one we both like.
